I miss all of you. I hope your lives are as happy as you have made mine. I love you all. :)

This song I dedicate to my girlfriend. She's the first girlfriend I ever had and I think both of us used this relationship to discover ourselves, I've learned a lot with it and my feeling only grows. Its a pity that I'll have to say goodbye to her. It was a "summer love" for me and I'm only bringing good things from it. It's not bad to be happy, it's not bad to start a relationship knowing it will have to end and enjoying your last moments in the best way.

I'm posting a very famous song with a total dance style, something that I really didn't want to do... But the meaning and story I have related to this song are just that amazing:

It was just one more normal Barbecue here in Germany with my usual friends that turned into a crazy party. We were all in the mood to do something "different" when one of my friends suggested that we should go swimming, without clothes. We went to this canal next to the house we were and all jumped naked on the water, it was awesome, one of my best days of my year. After swimming we climbed on this old part of bridge, which I jumped earlier from, and started to dance like crazy with the music coming from the boom box we'd brought. Skinny dipping is awesome!

Heads Will Roll is also one of the many good songs that were played on the Project X movie.

Usually this song made me feel good about my own fights, feeling that I' making my own part and I don't need to flatter myself about it.
Then, I was going to Bremen to take my plane to London and we put this song on the car. It was only the beginning of our trip of two days on the city I most wished to go in this world! I was with two great friends, Lukas and Josi and we had a great time, seeing everything possible in two days on the English capital. We heard and sang this song the hole time. It will always bring me the best memories.

I really like how Neon Trees brings this old style mixed in their songs. For me this song represents all the fun from falling in love or just flirting. All the looks, doing dumb things to call attention, feeling awesome with your own appearance even thought you look ridiculous, trying to look cool... It makes me see all of this in a funny way. I feel like I could wear a black leather jacket and walk around blinking to the chicks.

This song doesn't need much explanation. Just listen and watch, then see what you feel like.

18 more days and it will all be gone. All the 11 months we spent together, all the moments we cried together, screamed together, drank together, fought together, they will all be gone. But the memories will stay, so as the photos, songs, videos, everything that reminds me of them. Each person I met this year has an incredibly special place in my heart and soul, but some of them are even more special. And sometimes, all I want to do is to put everything behind and just enjoy the moments we have left together. It can be harder than it looks like, but if we do our best, we can do it. I consider myself one of the luckiest people in the entire world for having the opportunity to get to know these amazing people. Now we are leaving, our families and homes are waiting for us after a year apart, it is now time to go back and start a new life, which actually is the old one, but with the new you.

Listening to "Daylight" only reminds me that I have had the best friends in the world and in every single second that we were together, we enjoyed as it was our last time. And now that we only have almost 3 weeks left, we are trying to spend most of the time together because we know we will never going to see each other again. Maybe we will, but not in those circumstances.

"and in the daylight we can hitchhike to Maine,
I hope that someday I’ll see without these frames,
and in the daylight I don’t pick up my phone,
‘cause in the daylight anywhere feels like home,
I have five clocks in my life,
and only one has the time right I’ll just unplug it for today"

Good moments are brought in my mind when I hear Tongue Tied. I'm talking again about my German friends, I've never had a group of friends like that, so funny, happy, cool and that makes me feel so good with simple things. Although they are younger than me, it looks like they are more mature and definitely more independent. I hang out with them almost everyday and I was not used to do this in Brazil. This hole text may be very silly but it's not only about these friends, it is also the context I have them and the hole things I shared with them, this is a feeling I can't even explain well. It is something very new and important for me and I'll miss their faces like hell.

This song is absolutely amazing. It describes every feeling I have at this point in my life. It is time to say goodbye, and this song expresses the normalcy and comfort that I have come to feel on this exchange... The song ends with an intense and awesome loud breakdown of sorts, which is what I think all exchange students are beginning to feel, if not already feel, because we have to say goodbye. Also, these kids are still in High School.. What am I doing with my life? :D

Read My Mind is my balance point between the life I left behind and the one I have now. It makes me remember of the old times, and my old frustrations that now I find so silly. "I'm gonna turn this thing around. Can you read my mind?" this part has such a great effect on me, because no one can ever guess whats about to happen but the trust I have makes a great difference.

Have you ever felt like you fucked up everything you tried so long and so hard to get? Little Lion Man makes me think about all the moments I thought everything was lost. Sometimes, I do something very stupid and I notice it later, but people don't really care because everyone has their own problems and lifes. But I keep that in mind and in my head everyone cares about it and I get trapped in my crazy thoughts where everyone is judging and hating me. I really relate to this song, I've been changing a lot this last years and I had to fix so many mistakes. But the thing is, I've started seeing problems on me an not on the others, when things got wrong I looked for the problem on me, its always my fault and I'm wrong. Saying I'm sorry doesn't take much courage and I got used to saying it.

Oh, if I had learned with my mother before...

I don't know why, or how, but this song always makes me want to never give up. When I listen to Ben Howard I always have the same sensation: to follow my dreams, to go forward, do whatever I want to and never, never give up. And it has a lot to do with what I am currently doing in my life. Spending an entire year in Europe, exactly in the other side of the ocean and not knowing how to deal with new people, language and customs. Well, this songs along with Ben's discography had helped me to go with it and to not give up of my dream. And here I am, saying goodbye to everything I have been through after 11 months.

Well, when I first heard this song in Brazil I just felt incredibly good, I don't know why, it gave me happiness. The part I like most is when the song stops and suddenly Florence shouts "Happiness hit her, like a bullet in the mind". Then I was riding my bike with my friends here in Germany, while we were going to Lukas's house and I started singing, as I always do. I sang this song so much that day so they finally played it out loud. Deike, one of my friends, said she feels simply free with this song, like with a new start after times of repression.

According to Wikipedia, the "Dog Days" is a name for the hottest and most humid time of the year in North America.

Playlist #10 (New Slang - The Shins)

Looking out of the window and all I see is rain, the streets are all full of water and all I can think about it what I left home. Leaving all my friends and family and arriving in a completely new place, new language, new people, was the hardest thing I have ever done. I am pretty sure saying goodbye to all these wonderful people I have met will be even worse, but I just don't like thinking about that. Although I think about that every single day.

But what has this song to do about it? Well, everytime I listen to this amazing song by The Shins, I start to remember all the good times I had back in Brazil, and all the perfect times I had here in Germany. I start thinking about how lucky I am for having such an opportunity to get to know these people and places, and how incredible it can be, because in only 37 days it is about to end.

As one of my best friends would say, "I like songs that makes me create stories, stories that make me want to live the impossible, that make me want to just forget about everything and just live in this fairytale". And that's what "Stranger" by Angus and Julia Stone gives me. It gives me the sensation of freedom, it makes me want to close my eyes and imagine all I have always wanted to do and not only imagine, but do it. It saves me from everything I am afraid of, it stops my thoughts about how amazing my life is right now and how incredibly hard can a "goodbye" be.

When I first heard this song, I was a following someone on her exchange that is extremely special to me. She got me extremely excited about her own exchange which ultimately decided for me to go on mine. I heard this song and I realized how beautiful life can be, and how there is only a door in my way to go experience it. I fell in love with this song, and I fell in love with this girl. Now, this song allows me to mellow out and realize that the little things in life are the amazing ones. It's a song to show, that there are indeed better places out there.

My german friend Anna showed me this song and I simply loved it. She said she used to hear it with her boyfriend, super loud, inside his car, during the night. They felt in a totally different world, feeling like they didn't need anything else, like that moment could be the end.

It sounds like a cliche, but New York City is my dream city. It is actually one of the biggest cliches ever, but NYC is still a dream city. Now imagine me, a video lover, a NYC lover, a music lover, watching this video. How Andrew Clancy combined the amazing shoots with the awesome song "We Don't Eat", by James Vincent McMorrow, I have no idea. But he did it well. Oh, he did.

Prepare yourself for one of the most beautiful and inspirational instrumental pieces, that in my opinion, has ever been written. He says his words through his guitar, and he says them beautifully.

I've never heard a better song to just dance to. I first heard it on "The Ed Banger 7", a promotional video for Ed Banger records, and instantly fell in love. Breakbot has the music to make you move, and I say to you all, dance and enjoy!
